One day over a drink two old men met
To discuss their children who were to wed yet
Their spouses agreed this was fine indeed
Thus began the long romance
The couple took no chance
Quickly put on the ring on each others finger
And let the romance linger
Cause it is good to be engaged to a Sailor who has changed the fortunes of the house
With a choice of a spouse
M was entrusted with preparations for the day worked with a will and made night day
With a flock of helpers whom he trusted
He made easy work of the job entrusted
